About Us

Paul Azeff and Kory Bobrow have been friends since they met at St. George's High School, separating to continue their education: Paul attended the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts, while Kory went on to study Political Science and Philosophy at Carleton University. Paul began his career in financial services at Burns Fry in 1992, and stayed with the firm through its merger with the Bank of Montreal before joining Kory as a partnership at Marleau Lemire, a small brokerage firm specializing in high technology and special projects in 1993. Together they moved to Midland Walwyn, a mid-sized brokerage firm in 1996, staying together through mergers and sales from predecessor firms, which became CIBC Wood Gundy. Paul was a member of the management team at Merrill Lynch Canada and CIBC Wood Gundy, where, as Sales Manager, he helped oversee the operations of the Branch as well as being responsible for the training, development and oversight of new hires. After leaving CIBC, Paul and Kory helped to establish the Montreal office for EuroPacific Canada, a boutique brokerage firm. They also served a secondary role as the Senior Market Strategists of the firm and published a monthly report entitled The Bottom Line. By the time they left the firm in August of 2016 by selling their business, EuroPacific Canada had grown into being one of the largest independent firms in the country and is now known as Echelon Wealth Partners.

Paul and Kory also play an active role in their communities. Paul co-chaired a Gala Auction night for the Jewish General Hospital and was a featured artist in the 2009 and 2010 "Battle of the Bands," which raised money for the Maimonides Geriatric Care Centre well as 2010 March for Dimes battle of the bands. He is also actively involved with numerous animal and environmental charities. Kory sat on the board of the National Capital Commission, a Canadian Crown Corporation, and was a member of their Audit Committee. He has also sat on the boards of several community, non-profit and educational organizations and has been a successful fundraiser. Paul has been married since 2004 and has three young children and a bulldog. Kory has two young children, and no bulldog.

Paul And Kory also have a combined 15 years of regulatory and litigation experience that round out their knowledge, leaving them with a unique skill set that allows them to provide these specialized services. The high degree of trust they have with each other and their differing philosophies, approaches and areas of specialization add value to the client experience, providing the expertise of two seasoned professionals as well as ensuring continuity of service.
